A meeting of the Town Council of Huntertown, Indiana was held on Monday, November 16, 2015 at 6:00 p.m. Attendees: Pat Freck, Dave Garman, Brandon Seifert, and Clerk Treasurer Cathy Mittendorf. Also present: Attorney David Hawk, Superintendent Don Papai, and Derek Frederickson from Engineering Resources. There were 10 guests and 1 reporter.

Pat Freck called the meeting to order with the Pledge of Allegiance.

COUNCIL ACTIONS

Dave Garman made a motion to accept November 2, 2015 meeting minutes. Brandon Seifert seconded. Motion carried

Brandon Seifert made a motion to accept Special Meeting minutes dated November 9, 2015, Dave Garman seconded. Motion carried.

Dave Garman made a motion to accept General claims dated for November 16, 2015 for $74,268.22, Brandon Seifert seconded. Motion carried.

Brandon Seifert made a motion to introduce Ordinance No. 2015-07, Dave Garman seconded. Motion carried.

Dave Garman made a motion to consider Ordinance No. 2015-07, Brandon Seifert seconded. Motion carried.

Brandon Seifert made a motion to adopt Ordinance No. 2015-07, Dave Garman seconded. Motion carried.

Dave Garman made a motion to approve Max Utterback (as needed) for snow removal, Brandon Seifert seconded. Motion carried.

COMMENTS/REPORTS

Cathy Mittendorf, Clerk Treasurer
   Cathy presented council with Ordinance No. 2015-07 for an additional appropriation for fiscal year 2015 in the amount of $430,000. It is necessary to appropriate more money than was originally appropriated in the annual budget to help pay for the Gump Road reconstruction and utility relocation project.

Don Papai, Superintendent
   1) The last day for leaf pick up will be November 25, 2015.
   2) Two out of the four bids came back with Max Utterback being the lowest for snow removal. He will be on standby, and only if needed.
   3) Salt and Stone prices will stay the same for the remainder of the year. Prices for 2016 will be available later this week.
   4) A representative from W.A. Jones will be looking over our existing equipment to see how much we are lacking for new V-Plow.

David Hawk
   1) Dave presented the Town with signed settlement between Twin Eagles Development II, LLC, Timber Ridge Group, LLC and the Town of Huntertown. This copy stipulates annexation completed on 11/13/15.
   2) There will be a Special Meeting on Thursday, November 19, 2015 at 6:00 concerning sewer rates and charges.

PUBLIC COMMENTS

Stella's Alterations, 15512 Lima Road
   She is concerned that she has been in her building since 1981, and city sewer was never connected to her 3 buildings, even though she has been paying for this service

Sarah Garman, 1928 Mill Stream
   Sarah comment that she and Dave had a similar problem with not being hooked up to sewer.
