REPORTS

Tim Schobert, Asst. Utility Foreman

The Water Treatment Plant is up and running producing at least 1400 gallons per minute. This is 90% total capacity.

Hydro flushing will start September 28 lasting around 6 weeks. Would like to hire a part time person to work between 6 - 8 weeks. The hours would be between 25 to 30 hours a week at $ 11.74 an hour.

Derek Frederickson, Engineering Resources

Derek presented another section of Talon's Reach subdivision for approval. There are 32 lots which will be approved pending approval of Don Papai. He has updated the capacity analysis to show there is capacity to receive these additional 32 lots at the Talon's Reach lift station.  If board is favorable, Derek would like to handle this like it was done the past 5 months by approving this project pending approval of Don Papai.

Derek presented pay application 11 from R.E. Crosby for the Flow Equalization facility which includes liquidation damages of around $80,000.

Engineering Resources are in a position to advertise for bids on the WWTP starting the week of September 21 should the USB be interested.

Bill Boyle, DLZ
There are very few items left outstanding on the 4 water contracts.

PUBLIC COMMENTS

Jenny Draper, 9915 Miller Road
She frequently travels down Hathaway Road and noticed there has not been any work done on the Equalization for some time. It was originally reported to be completed in March 2015. She is wondering what is going on.

Andrew Conner made a motion to adjourn, John Widmann seconded. Motion carried.

Next USB meeting is October 5, 2015 at 5:00.
